  1. Phone pre-ordering policy:

    1. Each pre-ordered iPhone requires 1) a subscription to the designated service plan. Each plan subscription and each mobile number are eligible to order one new iPhone only; or 2) execute designated Handset and Accessories Credit Offer at our store to purchase your pre-ordered iPhone at Recommended Retail Price; or 3) settle the payment of the handset by "Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer – Handset & Accessories Cash Coupon" for To-the-door delivery.
    2. A maximum of 3 iPhones (including iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max) can be pre-ordered per HKID, Passport Number or Business Registration Number.
    3. To-The-Door Delivery Option is only applicable to customers holding "Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer – Handset & Accessories Cash Coupon" only. Each service plan can choose To-The-Door Delivery Option once only. Prior to the handset to be dispatched, customer is required to settle the payment of the handset by "Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer – Handset & Accessories Cash Coupon"
    4. A non-refundable HK$500 deposit per iPhone will be charged for each accepted order.
      • You can deduce the deposit from your payment when you collect your pre-ordered iPhone or from your monthly bill on the next bill date at our store; or deduce the deposit from your payment when completing your iPhone to-the-door order on designated SmarTone iPhone ordering page.
      • Your deposit will be forfeited for any cancellation or failure to collect the iPhone or complete your iPhone To-the-door order on designated SmarTone iPhone ordering page within the specified 2-day collection period.
      • Once an order is accepted, it cannot be changed. Any change to the memory size, colour or model of your selected iPhone will forfeit your place in the iPhone pre-order queue and will be treated as a new pre-order. You will also forfeit your deposit per iPhone.
      • Once an order is accepted, even if you are not eligible to iPhone pre-ordering policy 1a, you will also forfeit your deposit per order.
      • The deposit is non-refundable unless your ordered iPhone is not available for collection after 90 days from the launch day or the order submission date, whichever is later. In such case, you will have the option to cancel your order and have your deposit refunded. If you make any changes to the order, the 90-day period will be counted from the date on which you made the latest changes.
    5. For existing subscribers, please contact store assistant or call hotline for our upgrade policy.

  2. Pre-order pick up at store arrangement:

    1. When you have successfully submitted your pre-order, a confirmation email and / or SMS will be sent to you.
    2. When the chosen model(s) of your iPhone becomes available, you will receive a notification email and / or SMS for selecting the pick-up time and date (Two specific days are available and subject to the available timeslots). To ensure you can get your iPhone(s) earlier, we highly suggest you complete the above process as soon as you receive our notification.
    3. Please pick-up your order on the chosen time and date at your designated store. If you do not follow your chosen collection arrangement, your order and the $500 deposit will be forfeited. The above reserved iPhone(s) for the reservation will be arranged for sales at store in the following day after the order has been canceled.
    4. Upon order pick up, the iPhone(s) will be unpacked and activated.
    5. SmarTone can give no assurance on the date of the stock availability as supply is dependent on the stock delivered by the manufacturer. You hereby accept and understand that SmarTone will not be able to indicate the time of availability and provide information on stock availability.
    6. If you do not receive the confirmation email after successfully submitting your order, please check your spam mail folder. To ensure you will receive our important emails afterwards, please add comms@service.smartone.com and advice@comms.smartone.com to your email address books immediately.  Please call 22818842 if you don’t receive the confirmation email and/or SMS.

  3. Free to-the-door delivery arrangement:

    1. To-the-door delivery is applicable to customers holding "Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer – Handset & Accessories Cash Coupon" and completing iPhone pre-order on designated iPhone pre-order page only. Each service plan can enjoy to-the-door delivery option once.
    2. New subscribers of “Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer” should ensure that their new mobile numbers have been activated to receive verification SMS. Otherwise, only in-stock pickup option will be available.
    3. When your pre-ordered iPhone becomes available, you will receive an email and/or SMS notification containing instructions to complete your iPhone order on designated SmarTone iPhone ordering page. To ensure you can get your iPhone earlier, we recommend completing the above process as soon as you receive the notification.
    4. Upon receiving above email and/or SMS notification, please complete your iPhone order on designated SmarTone iPhone ordering page within 2 days. If you do not finish iPhone ordering process within the time limit, your order and the $500 deposit will be forfeited.
    5. Prior to the handset to be dispatched, customer is required to settle the payment of the handset by "Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer – Handset & Accessories Cash Coupon". Other "Consumption Voucher Subscription Offer – Handset & Accessories Cash Coupon" under the same service plan may also be used at the same time.
    6. All delivery dates quoted are estimates only. SmarTone can give no assurance on the date of the stock availability as supply is dependent on the stock delivered by the manufacturer. You hereby accept and understand that SmarTone will not be able to indicate the exact time of delivery and provide information on stock availability.
    7. SmarTone shall not be liable if delivery of the handset is delayed or unsuccessful, due to, including without limitation any of the following reasons:
      1. incorrect information provided by the Customer (for example, incorrect delivery address or contact information);
      2. no one is available to receive the handset when it is delivered;
      3. fault due to third party courier;
      4. or other circumstances that are beyond the reasonable control of SmarTone.
    8. SmarTone reserves the right not to deliver the handset to a specific address, even if it is a Hong Kong address. Three to seven extra working days are needed for order delivery to outlying islands and remote areas. The exact delivery time depends on the dispatching schedule from the courier company.
    9. Customer may be required to pay an additional delivery fee if the customer did not provide the correct delivery address.
    10. SmarTone will not accept any changes to the delivery method once the iPhone pre-order has been confirmed.
    11. If you do not receive the confirmation email after successfully submitting your order, please check your spam mail folder.   4. To ensure the pre-ordering process can be successfully completed within the time limit of the pre-ordering system, please have the below items ready for entry:

  5. RED Pass pre-order privileges

    2. SmarTone x The Point “Spend $1 on pre-order with RED Pass to get up to 2 Free Points” privilege is only applicable to the eligible spending of SmarTone mobile service plan users, who successfully activating the Auto-earn The Point Bonus Points function, in The Point participating malls SmarTone Stores.

  6. If there is any inconsistency or ambiguity between the English version and the Chinese version of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.

  7. By submitting an order to SmarTone, you unconditionally accept and undertake to observe the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.
